Transport Safety
Whatever you're transporting and whatever type of vehicle
you're using, securing the load properly to the vehicle so it
doesn't endanger anyone is a legal requirement in the UK and other
EU countries. Read more about the law.

If a load isn't secured properly, it can move or settle during
the journey. Load shifts can happen at low speed - you don't have
to be driving badly for a load to move. Even heavy loads can and do
move under normal driving conditions. Read more about why loads shift.
Load securing doesn't have to be difficult, if you pick the
right load securing system for your goods and your vehicles.
Everyone involved in the transport chain has a part to play in
making sure goods arrive safely: it's not just down to the driver
of the vehicle. Read more about responsibility.
