HSE's Chemicals Regulation Division (CRD) will be holding a
one-day informal Regulatory Seminar. This will provide an
update on the product authorisation renewal process for Plant
Protection Products (PPPs) under Article 43 of Regulation (EC)
The event will be an updated version of the event we delivered
in March 2016 and will include CRD's recent experiences. The day
will comprise of a series of presentations and Q&A sessions
delivered by members of CRD who are directly involved in the
The course will cover:
- An overview of product renewal under Article 43
- The process as described in the EU Guidance Document
SANCO/2010/13170; zonal cooperation and experience to date
- Submitting article 43 applications to CRD
- How CRD process renewal applications
- Issues to consider at renewal for individual specialist areas
of the risk assessment
- Common issues and lessons learned

Who should attend?
The seminar is designed for those involved in submitting
applications for the renewal of product authorisations for Plant
Places will be limited to a maximum of 50 delegates and
will be issued on a first-come first-served
The event will be held at the DoubleTree by Hilton, St Maurice's
Road, York YO31 7JA. Registration will begin from 09:00 am. The day
will start at 09:30 am and finish around 4:45 pm.
The cost of this course is £445 (plus VAT) per person (includes
course notes, lunch and refreshments)
Please note the invoice option is not available within 4
weeks of the course date, or for overseas customers. If you
are selecting the invoice option for payment, it will be mandatory
to input a purchase order/reference number as we are unable to
