Hand-Arm Vibration Syndrome

The Centre for Workplace Health (CWH) at the Health and Safety Laboratory (HSL) in Buxton is a specialist tertiary referral centre for the investigation of workplace ill health.

The CWH offers a clinical examination to include standardised tests for the evaluation of workers with hand-arm vibration syndrome (HAVS), or suspected HAVS, with or without carpal tunnel syndrome, for Tier 5 health surveillance or for the investigation of complex cases.
