HSL's scientific excellence and willingness to share expertise was recently acknowledged by the President of the BOHS in the society's February newsletter.

Alexander Bianchi commented that a presentation on nanohazards given by HSL's Dr Garry Burdett reminded him of 'the level of scientific excellence that we have here in the UK and that HSL's 'willingness to share and discuss common approaches towards measuring and managing health hazards with fellow professionals, and especially 'new' health hazards such as nanoparticles is a credit to them'
