Shared Research Project - Stress
Would you like to shape stress research?
HSE is seeking like-minded organisations to join a shared
research project to further the knowledge and understanding of
stress management, with a particular focus on proactive management
and preventative measures. HSE will co-invest with several project
partners to fund research that will be undertaken by the HSE's
Laboratory in partnership with Robertson Cooper. As a starting
point, our experts have identified some of the areas where research
could strengthen the evidence base to help businesses manage
stress.
- Designing and implementing the right interventions, in
the right way
What factors should be taken into account when choosing, designing
and implementing impactful interventions? What are the leading
indicators for measuring success? How do you join up multiple
interventions to create the overall impact you're looking for?
- A reliable benchmark for a complete health management
system
How do you mainstream a business focus on health and wellbeing?
What is the standard or benchmark for this, and how should
organisations put a strategy in place to get there? How do they
measure the success of that strategy? How could these standards be
applied inside businesses supply chains?
- A culture of wellbeing
What are the underlying parts of a business' culture that support
wellbeing? How do organisations go from 'doing' to 'being' when it
comes to putting wellbeing at the heart of how they do
business?
Research Workshop
HSE are hosting a shared research workshop at our laboratory in
Buxton on the 12th May 2017 where
experts from Robertson Cooper and HSE would like to discuss the
research interests with stakeholders across HR, H&S and
operational delivery. The workshop will gather ideas and draw
together common issues that will formulate shared research project
plans.
For shared research programmes, HSE needs partners to invest a
share of the research budget. In return, those partners shape the
research and have access to the findings ahead of publication.
Places at the
workshop are limited so book your place now.
If you can't attend but would like to be kept up to date please
