Introduction

HSE will be holding a bitesize event on the environmental risk assessment for home garden/amateur plant protection products. The aim of the event will be to describe how the environmental risk assessment for these products is considered by HSE fate and behaviour and ecotoxicology specialist teams.

The session will be delivered by HSE regulatory specialists and will help attendees improve the quality of their submissions and understand how these will be reviewed by the GB regulator.

The event will cover:

• The approach to environmental risk assessment for home garden/amateur products
• Risk envelope approaches that can be taken to support applications
• Risk mitigation measures that can be applied to home garden/amateur products
• Worked examples of the risk assessment of home garden/amateur products

Who should attend?

The event will be targeted at technical and regulatory staff involved in the production and submission of data into the GB and NI pesticide product authorisation process.

Live Online Course Information

All you will need is an internet-connected computer, laptop or tablet, plus a webcam and microphone. We do not recommend using a smartphone.
