The Centre for Workplace Health aims to offer value for money
occupational health services that deliver measureable health
improvements in workplaces. Our occupational health professionals
use their expertise to advise both employers and employees of risks
to health and how best to avoid these. Their skills and the
techniques they use assist individual employees in maintaining
their health and "workability" and employers in improving their
total business "workability" and help to maintain a productive
workforce.

The range of services we offer includes:
- Occupational Health needs assessment and service audit;
- Pre-employment health assessment;
- Fitness for work assessment;
- Sickness absence management assessment and advice;
- Occupational Health Policy writing;
- Health surveillance.
As well as providing all routine Occupational Health Services we
have the capabilities to undertake complex investigations and can
provide advice and support to company occupational health services.
Our activities are supported by a comprehensive range of additional
services including occupational hygiene, laboratory support
(toxicology, immunology, microbiology, biological monitoring),
occupational psychology, personal protective equipment specialist
advice and ergonomics.
We see clients both at our headquarters in Buxton, or on-site where
suitable space is available. Each of our clients has a named
customer account manager who provides a contact point for any
services that they require. The account managers are contactable by
landline, mobile or e-mail and routinely visit clients across the
UK to build lasting working relationships with our clients.
