Our Quality Management System covers all aspects of HSL's activities
and is approved to ISO9001:2000 by a UKAS-accredited Certification
Body. In addition, a number of our tests are UKAS accredited to
the requirements of ISO 17025. HSL also participates in a number
of interlaboratory Quality Assurance Proficiency Schemes.

HSL is committed to setting and maintaining exemplary standards
of health and safety performance to ensure the health and safety
of our staff as well as that of others who may work at or visit
our premises. This commitment is expressed expressed in HSL's Health

HSL maintains a consistently high performance in a range
of national and international quality assurance schemes and European-wide
quality initiatives. In addition, HSL organises and manages a number
of proficiency testing
schemes in occupational and environmental areas.
