Our Quality Management System covers all aspects of HSL's
activities and is approved to ISO9001:2008 by a UKAS-accredited
Certification Body. In addition, a number of our tests are UKAS accredited to the requirements of ISO/IEC

HSL is committed to setting and maintaining exemplary standards
of health and safety performance to ensure the health and safety of
our staff as well as that of others who may work at or visit our
premises. This commitment is expressed in HSL's Health and Safety

Environment
HSL takes its responsibilities towards environmental issues
seriously and fully accepts the need to protect the environment for
the benefit of society. Our Environmental Policy Statement
demonstrates this commitment.

HSL is committed to train and develop its staff in line with
business needs and continues to be recognised as an Investor in
People organisation since its first registration in November

Quality Assurance Proficiency Schemes
HSL maintains a consistently high performance in a range of
national and international quality assurance schemes and
European-wide quality initiatives. In addition, HSL organises and
manages a number of proficiency testing schemes
in occupational and environmental areas.

Code of Ethics for Occupational Health Professionals and, where
it is appropriate for its research, obtain ethical review from a
recognised research ethics committee. Our research is subject to
rigorous audit and review allowing adaptation to the needs and
demands of our customers whilst maintaining our scientific
reputation.
