HSL was originally set up to help the Health and Safety Executive - otherwise known as HSE - to minimise risks to people's health and safety at work. Today, with over 30 years' experience, investment and growth under our belt, the scope of our work is unparalleled - and ever-widening. So, as well as continuing to support HSE, we now work with a wide range of other public and private-sector organisations, often conducting detailed, bespoke research and development work on their behalf.
